in playing backgammon everyone wants to play for 101 points.Does it mean the cube keeps going back and forth?

I know how to use the cube I just don't know where they are wanting to play for 101 points on Yahoo Backgammon

They want to raise the stakes and prefer for the cube to be doubled and redoubled quickly. The higher the stakes the higher the rating points for the winner of the match. It's a way to sort of accelerate the climb to higher levels. Kind of cheesy if you ask me.
